"Having a sister is like having a best friend you can’t get rid of. You know whatever you do, they’ll still be there."
HAPPY BIRTHDAYYYY BEAUTIFUL!! :DD Many thanks to those 18years (18 talaga cause I’ve been with you since day 1 ♥) of fun and friendship. You are my roomie, fan-girl friend, partner-in-crime, driving buddy, ukulele-playing buddy and best friend. Studyyy hard and be good :DD I love you, you crazy bunch :*
We were lying down talking to each other when we just randomly told me this. :) :”“”“”“”> I think this was the sweetest thing anyone has ever told me. So I asked him if I can take a picture of him doing the actions so I can keep it in picture and he was okay and agreed to it. :D
It’s been a long time since I haven’t posted anything. I know I said I was going to make a comeback by trying to blog at least everyday but my academics got in the way (as usual) - so sorry.
So today is the start of my summer. (Yay) so hum I hope I can go back to blogging soon.
To say the least Walt Disney Animation hasn’t had nor seen a hit like this since the Lion King. Let the Storm that is Frozen rage on.
For the first time in forever Walt Disney animation is back in the game.
Having trouble breaking up with someone???
1. Lean in for a kiss
2. Stop before your lips touch theirs
3. Say “Oh ________, if only there was someone who loved you”
4. Walk away and let them die
Nakakita na ba kayo ng sparks between two people and automatically get this feeling na baka pwedeng maging sila? Fortunate ata ako kasi nakita ko yun last week. Assuming na tama ako, and naging sila nga, kami nalang ng friend kong si Darryl yung single. Kawawa naman kami pag Friendship Day (Valentine’s Day) na. Tataba kami ng sobra. Good for 6 people pa naman palagi yung food.
Nakakita na ba kayo ng movie na akala niyo dati chararat pero ok naman pala? I have this thought na maganda taste ko sa movies and I think kaya ko namang suportahan yun. Para lang kasing beauty yan eh. Subjective. Haha. Promo: Four Sisters and a Wedding.
Or trailer ng movie. Or genetics.
Naalala ko tuloy yung attendance sheet naming sa ENSC 11. Palagi kasing may column sa huli containing a question from the professor na sasagutan namin upon signing for attendance. Since last class na for the semester, sabi dun: “Last words…?”
Sinulat ko: “Carpe diem.”
Thank you :)
So.. hello there ☺
Nothing formal, it’s just me really.. trying to blog, yet again. Anyways, to whomever is reading this, please bear with me because I haven’t written anything non-formal / non-newslettertype-ish (you see what I mean) in ages (not really, the last article I submitted was last month.) but you get me. And if there was a level one for writing skills, I’d probably be at level zero.
(P.S. Excuse the uhms, ifs, the ahhs, ehhh, and any strange sounded words that are probably not even words)
So here are the highlights of my last week…. it’s really strange how adventurous, funny and loving this week has started. Definitely made me look forward to more moments like these for the year 2014! <3 (Hey, I’m a simple girl. Well, I’d like to think that I am.)
I started the week with my Engineering Science 11 Exam… Haha. Not the way I normally would want to start my week but all is well. Nakasagot naman ako, which is a first. And hopefully I do pass.
The next day, my 4-5:30pm classes were cancelled which means…. tadaaaaa! I get to watch my crush play softball from 4-6pm. Yayyyy. (and if you guys haven’t picked up yet, Jan = boyfriend = forever crush) and of course, not to disappoint naman yung time (I could have spent studying.. HAHA feeling GC) when I watched him. When he plays, he makes me proud. I know, you’d probably say I’m biased, but hey… go see for yourself. ♡
After his practice, we went to mcdo (simple but good life it is hihi) - ordered and ate sundae cones. On the way to go get and eat some fishballs (yes ganyan talaga kami magdate haha) - we saw his best friends. So we sat down with them and kwentuhan. Soon it got late, then we said goodbye.
We looked for the kuya who sells fish balls but we didnt see him. So we ended up eating at Cafe Ella… which was way far from the original plan of eating street food. Though the food was pricy, it was worth it. Their nachos and spaghetti were really good (..and nahawa na ata ako sa pagka-food critic ni Jan).
I thought my week was going to end with a heavy-on-the-acads-kind-of-day (which are usually how my Thursdays just kinda go) but it rather ended up being a really spontaneous one. I went to Nuvali with these lovely people. How spontaneous the trip was I cannot even tell you everything except that in the presence of good company, nights like these could never go wrong.
Friday: I was told by my VP in PIIE that I had to cover (document by taking pictures) an event in DLSU Dasmarinas the following day. I needed my camera which I did not have with me (huhu I cry).. So Jan and I went to my home in Las Pinas. (via commute) - got there around 7pm got back in LB around 9pm. Why am I saying this here? I dont really know but it was fun. Especially the fact that we kept eating (huhu) sa bus as if we were on a field trip to somewhere far far far far far far away (just imagine how many times I said the word “far”- that was the number of times we ate during the whole trip).
Saturday: The Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers - Sports FIEsta - Nationals - The last adventure for the week! I woke up at 5:30am, met with some orgmates (who played for the Calabarzon Chapter and won 1st place, by the way) and we traveled all the way from UPLB to DLSU Dasma. It took us two hours before we got there. After a long day of work (work = documenting the event, taking pictures and taking note of the names and winners) - finally went home in LB around 11:45pm because the event finished later than expected.
Even though Saturday was probably the most tiring day of them all, it was also the most fulfilling. As I did my job, I got to meet a lot of new people. I mean, natutuwa ako sa simpleng kwentuhan and tawanan with other people, especially knowing that they are too, Industrial Engineers.
With PIIE Officers of the National Student Chapter
With UPLB PIIE officers and UPLB Women’s Basketball Team
After the busy-ness(is this even a word?) of this whole week, I went home the next day…. tired yet happy with more new friends and “lalalalovely” experiences. ♡
